The Song of Souls

A Poem from Katy’s collection, October 2008

Let us take a ride on the tail
Of a carefree comet
To the other side of the moon
Finding solace
Far from the turmoil and toil.

Let us sit by the lake
Of forgotten lullabies
And remember together
Pure moments of bounty and bliss.

Let us climb the steps
At the temple of tortured souls
And lay our hearts
At the altar of future dreams.

Let us collide, merge and be reborn
In the depths of a Supernova’s Deliverance;
One Body
One Mind
One Heart
One Soul.
