A Poem from Katy’s collection, October 2021

Faint blush on the horizon
Heralds the arrival:
Now more distant the Giver of Life.

Solitary robin’s song:
Summer’s joyous Symphony subdued …

Gossamer nets
Bejewelled with dawn’s dew …

Nature’s cool breath:
                        Shrouding …

Freshly ploughed fields:
                        Resting …

Remnants scattered
                        Wildlife’s bounty
                                   Lying in wait …
