'Peace' is one of a pair of modern symbolic paintings commissioned upon the birth of a child. It is painted in an oriental style. The vase holds two main branches, (representing the couple) with blossoms, which have not yet opened. Next to the vase is an empty bowl. The colours are strong, and yet subdued. The painting represents the 'Peace' that exists in the life of the couple prior to the birth of their child. Mixed Media |
