I walked the ways of ancient woods

The roads I tread are many

the way I walk

the way I talk

are things of not an unseemly past

there were thorns and scorpions all the way

roses too in bedrocked bushes

Friendship blossomed, smouldered and died

and me the mystic rose among ashes.
